Leadership

Meet Our Board

Jen Zuver, President

Jen is in her final year as president. She has been a member of Junior League of Eugene since early 2020 and has served on committees ranging from Membership to Fundraising and Event Planning (FEP). She is an Ohio native, dog mom of 11 years, and newly, a boy mom. Jen moved here with her husband who grew up in Washington. She loves the community, running and biking trails, and mountains surrounding Eugene. She is a chemical engineer by day and enjoys the opportunities JLE gives to serve the community and meet diverse, impactful women.

Kristin Michalowski, President-Elect

Kristin will step into her 2-year term as JLE president in 2026. A proud mom to 5-year-old Matthew and 2-year-old Sophie, she’s no stranger to change—having moved across the country to support her husband Brian’s career as a college football coach. Along the way, she’s been grateful for experience with Junior League chapters in Memphis, Charlotte, Denver, and now Eugene. With a background in local TV news and consulting, Kristin is a natural connector who thrives on building relationships. For her, Junior League is the perfect blend of community impact and personal growth, keeping her skills sharp while she focuses on raising her young family.

Martha Baldwin, Treasurer

Martha just finished a one-year term (to replace Jen Zuver) as treasurer and is starting a full two-year term in the 2025-26 business year.  She joined JLE in 2022 when she moved to Eugene from Appleton, WI, so that she could meet people in her new community, make friends, and learn about ways to serve her community.  She has served on the Membership Committee, chaired (for a bit) the Training and Events Committee, and is co-chairing the ad hoc committee that is working on the new focus area for the League.  An accountant by trade, she is a finance director for a local non-profit that provides re-entry services and is passionate about developing the JLE treasurer role into a position that a person not familiar with finances would feel comfortable and confident jumping into.  Martha and her husband are raising three active sons—18, 15, and 9—and hope to instill in them the same love for community service.

LaToya Thomas, Secretary

LaToya was born and raised on the beautiful island of Jamaica and is now making a home in Oregon after a stop in New Jersey. She works in IT by day, but when she’s off the clock, you’ll usually find her with her nose in a book or getting creative with crafts. She’s a proud mom to an awesome son who’s currently studying at the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!). She’s always down for good conversation, good vibes, and a good cup of tea.

Courtney Erickson, Executive Vice President

Courtney is new to the Board this year as the EVP after spending her first two years with JLE on the communications committee. She is an Oregon native and grew up in Roseburg, and has lived in Eugene with her husband and two dogs since 2013. She is a retail store manager and social media brand ambassador for a women’s fashion chain. She enjoys gardening, traveling and cheering on the Oregon Ducks at as many games as possible.
